A lovely antique bound half leather book. Titled 'Household Physician, A Family Guide to the Preservation of Health and to the Domestic Treatment of Ailments and Disease with Chapters on Food and Drugs, and First Aid in Accidents and Injuries'. Undated by dates from around 1890. It is a comprehensive guide to household ailments and first aid, with reference to foods, accidents, injuries, diseases, and drugs or treatments. With many colour and black and white plates. Throughout there are black and white illustriations. With mulberry leather panel to spine and gold gilt tooled book name. It is a facinating book and perfect for any collector, or to read and enjoy.
Condition
Bumped corners and spine. Foxing to some pages. Leather worn in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
