A fantastic antique pair of watercolurs. Signed and inscribed the location by the artist. Albert E. Dumble was painting in the West Country at the end of the 19th Century to early part of the 20th. Both paints are titled, 'Haytor' and 'High Willhays Tor'. Both tors are in the Dartmoor National Park. High Willhays Tor is the highest point on Dartmoor and is 621 meters above sea level. Haytor however, is the most popular and famous for visitors and walkers. Both paints have a wonderful detail and are stunning as a pair. Framed in simple frames and gold mounts. A stunning pair of original watercolours. Perfect to incorporate into any modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
There is a little reflection on the glass of the pictures during photography. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
