A fantastic antique tray. Made from oak with the most lovely silver plate gallery. The handles are hand turned and mounted with silver plate. Dating from the Edwardian period circa 1910. It has a fabulous silver plate plaque or cartouche to the centre and would be great to get engraved for a special gift. The English oak has a stunning warm hue and tone. This stunning piece was probably used in a grand manor house as a butlers tray. A super period piece, perfect to add soul and character to any modern interior or to use and enjoy.
Condition
missing nuts to base. Tarnishing in places tot he silver plate as we have only given it a light clean. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
