A fantastic pair of original antique Thonet chairs. They use the unique craftsman technique of steaming wood or bentwood. Model number 255 with distinctive snakeskin or crocodile pattern. With original Thonet labels to the underside and stamped 255 and 'Made in Poland'. Dating from the early part of the 20th century, this is a beautiful pair of chairs from a renowned maker. Made from beech wood, which has a beautiful tone and hue. A fabulous pair of period chairs, perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
A few old woodworm holes (fully treated). Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
