Here for sale is a fantastic original watercolour. It is a fabulous West Country moorland scene and is signed by the artist W. H. Dryer. William Henry Dryer was a British Impressionist and Modern painter born in 1890 and died in 1930. He spent most of his life in Babbacombe, south Devon. He exhibited, with other west country artist at the Graves Gallery, London in 1900. He travelled to Italy, Switzerland, Indian and Egypt to paint and sketch. He painted in watercolour and Gouache west country scenes of Dartmoor and coastal scenes. A lovely gilt frame with title to mount. It is a stunning moody scene or a Dartmoor Tor. Perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
