A fantastic antique rug. Dating from the end of the 19th Century and is a Caucasian example. It has a stunning geoemetric design and is hand knotted wool on wool. With natural colours it has a wonderful timeworn patina. It clearly has age and has been a used piece. This beautiful runner rug would look fantastic on a wooden or tiled floor as it the colours are so muted. Adding soul and character to any modern space. 
Condition
Area of worn wool. Fringe missing in places. A much loved piece. Area of damage to left of rug. Shows lots of signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
