A fantastic antique wooden medicine apothecary bottle case. A beautiful hand carved piece of treen and dates from the Victorian period. The cover fits as perfectly together as the day it was made and has a lovely acorn finial. These wooden bottle cases were used by traveling chemists and apothecaries, to keep their medicines safe and unbroken. It comes with a clear bottle with original stopper. The bottle has a ground neck and does the stopper to create a good seal. Perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy. It can be staged in a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.

Condition

Large historic split to treen base and some nicks to wood in places. Some chips to neck of glass bottle. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
