A fantastic pair of antique seats. Salvaged from a cinema and have super quality cast iron frames. To one end is the most amazing art deco design cast to the metal. The metal frame has be painted with a muted gilt paint which gives the piece a real opulent feel.
Sprung seat and upholstered seats and back. Looks to be the original upholstery in a striking green velvet. The arms rests and seat base are in a shaped hardwood and the backs in bentwood. We have mounted the pair of legs onto a piece of  wood for extra stability. Altenatively, they could be attached directly to the floor. These rare chairs are full of character and would look fantastic in any interior as space saving seats in a hallway or dining room. We have another set of these chairs available in another listing. 
Condition
Marks to the upholstery, with areas of missing velvet and small split. Wear to cast iron. The arm rests have signs where whey have been previously upholstered. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
