A fantastic vintage telephone. Made by the Bell Telephones of Antwerp Belgium, and marked on the outer case. It has been fully converted for BT use and is working. This stunning telephone has a lovely metal Japanned outer casting and painted in gilt and braided flex to the handset. The brass carrying handle is still working to the front. The rotary dial is Japanned and the dialing face is bright and clean. These wonderful Belgian telephones are getting rare and this example is just great. Perfect as an interior piece to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
The telephone is working but the bell sound is quite dull. The ear piece souns is quiet. Wear to gilt decoration on outer case. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
