A fantastic antique humidor. With original advertising labels inside for 'H de Cabanas Y Carbajal' Cuban Cigars. They were known for fine quality makers of cigars in Havana, Cuba and have been producing since the early 1800s. We believe this cabinet dates from the turn of the century. We presume that this would have been used in a shop for advertising and storage of these quality cigars. 
It is beautifully made in fine quality cedar wood as is normal for good quality humidors. We will add brass hanging plates to the back for wall mounting. The 'Cabanas' labels are found to the inside of both doors and date from 1851. A fabulous unique piece, perfect as a kitchen or bathroom cabinet for storage. Adding soul and character to any modern interior space.
Condition
Area of missing wood trim to bottom right hand side. Staining to interior lining. Two internal shelf. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
