A stunning and original antique travel trunk. A great suitcase which would have been used on steamer ships and trains at the turn of the century. Made from Vellum calfskin and indicate its high quality. The word Vellum is derived from the Latin word 'Vitulinum' meaning "made from calf", leading to old french vélin, or "calfskin".  A wonderful example of a period trunk, perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Scuffs and wear to outer. No Key. Marks and staining to interior lining. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Courier
If it is a collect in person please arrange collection within 7 days from our Retrobarn in Flamstead, Hertfordshire. Viewing of items is welcome. The Retrobarn is open by appointment.
All items are packed using recycled cardboard and bubble wrap. Items are sent tracked, insured and signed for. 
If items has been damaged in transit, please contact us on the day of delivery and please take photos of the product and packaging, for insurance purposes.
