A fantastic antique table. The height and angle are adjustable. Dating from the turn of the century around 1900 to 1910. The table is a beautifully made in oak veneer and is full of ingenuity and interest. The top can be in table or lectern format. To switch between the two functions by pushing the metal mechanism under the table. In the lectern position book supports are missing so some sort of clip may be required. The height is adjustable by turning a cast iron knob. The base is painted cast iron and beautifully cast standing on wheels and claw and ball feet. Could be used as a console or side table. Or as a rest for a laptop in bed! A stunning usable table, perfect for any modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Small area of missing oak veneer to top. Mechanism is a bit stiff and may need some oil. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
