A fantastic antique brain coral. A large example of a specimen of a fossilised brain coral weighing 11kg. It really does look like a huge brain, with its distinctive outline and curves. A example of Diploria Labyrinthiformis which is often found in the western Atlantic ocean and Caribbean sea. This fabulous piece has been mounted on an ebonised base. A stunning display piece, perfect to stage in any modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior. We will use a courier for delivery as we do not trust a parcel company with this rare piece.
