A fantastic antique set of printers blocks and tray. This matching set of the alphabet and are all hand carved in the same font. The tray is included to display and store the letters and is stamped Harrild and Sons. The company was founded in 1809 by Robert Harrild at Norwich Street London and closed down in 1949. 
 
Please note the 'Z' is missing! and the blocks unstamped. The font is a lovely uppercase shape and has been salvaged from an original printers. They date from the first part of the 20th Century. Each font is approx 4.5 cm tall equivalent to a font of 72 point. They will have signs of ink as they have been used in a commerial environment. They are getting really hard to find as a full and complete set, including punctuation. A fabulous salvaged piece, perfect for craft, display or to use! 
Condition
Please note the 'Z' is missing.Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
