A lovely antique display cabinet. Made from mahogany with a lovely inlaid satinwood banding design. This type of cabinet was called a 'pier' cabinet as it stood between two slash windows in a Victorian house. With two internal thick glass shelves. There is a key but it doesn't seem to turn. The cabinet is mounted on a stained base and has a lovely pelment to the top. Inside is lined with watered silk fabric. An elegant period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
Area of missing wood by lock. Some historical signs of woodworm. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
