A fantastic antique cabinet. Made from mahogany with rosewood veneer to the pelmet at the top. With smooth sliding doors and three adjustable shelves. We believe this library bookcase was once owned by Ifor Williams who was knighted for services to the Welsh Language. We understand that the cabinet had to be winched out of the window into a boat at high tide!
This stunning Victorian piece and has the most wonderful panelled design to sides and front. The inside and shelves are painted white. A real statement piece and an investment to last years. Perfect to incorporate into any modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
No key. One of the glass panes has been replaced. Some lifting of the veneer in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
