A fantastic antique bank of drawers. Made from mahogany and often called 'Wellington Chests'. It has its original hinged locking side bar to the right and seven graduated drawers. All with original turned knobs and lovely dovetail joints. There are the most wonderful carved acanthus leaf corbels to the top. The mahogany has a stunning warm hue and timeworn patina. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Lock is missing and no key. Damage to back of one of the turned know. the Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
