A fantastic pair of antique binoculars. Engraved with the original owners name, M. Jaffray, Betchworth, Surrey. Our research indicate that they belonged to Mary Jaffray of Hartsfield Manor, Betchworth Surrey. Dating from the end of the 19th century. Made by Carl Zeiss a renowned maker of this time. The body is made from brass with leather. There are black lines on the lens and does effect there use. We are not experts but this could be removed professionally. A lovely pair of period binoculars with a wonderful history. Perfect for any collector!

Condition

Black marks to lens. Lid and handles to leather case is missing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
