A fantastic antique hand painted landscape. Signed by the artist Maud Dart (1887 to 1932). A wonderful landscape, with a lone person and glimpse of the sea. We believe it was painted at the early part of the 20th century. It has its original gilt gesso frame which has some losses but is original to the painting. To the reverse is the original framing label for a company based in Bedford. C.D. Shelton  Co, were around from 1880. A fabulous original English watercolour perfect to add soul and character to any modern interior or as a wonderful gift.
Condition
Loses to gesso frame. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
