A fantastic rare antique museum cabinet. Early 19th Century, Possibly Georgian or early Victorian. This large bank of drawers is made from oak with a lovely locking bar to the right. Each drawer has a sliding oak framed glazed cover which can be slid back to access the collection on display. This rare cabinet is heavy and has dovetail joints, so is made by a master craftsmen. This stunning imposing cabinet would be fantastic to store any rare collection or family heirloom in the home, or in a shop or retail setting for display and to add character and soul to a space.

Condition

One of the original brass handles is damaged so that its loose and there is are placement handle. Some of the drawers stick, but that could be due to our cold barn. A small area of beading to the corner and the both plinth the side at the back has a piece missing. There is historic staining to the top.

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
