A fantastic antique table. This salvaged table has been put together by us. The base is reclaimed from an antique sewing machine made by Kimball and Morton. They were a Glasgow based manufacturer created by Alonzo Kimball and John Kimball in 1856. To the green sides of the legs is a cast Lion painted in gold. The company was famous for its line of 'Lion' machines which were first manufacturered in 1868. These machines are rare. We have put the legs with a salvage piece of marble from an antique washstand. The white marble has a light grey vein within it. A stunning reclaimed piece perfect to add soul and character to any sustainable home.

Condition

There are holes drilled to the top where the marble would have had an upstand. Tarnishing to marble and cast iron. Areas of missing paint to base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
