A fantastic antique telephone. Consisting of a wooden junction box, Bakelite switch and brass handset. Dating from the 1930s to 1940s. The mouth and ear piece are made from Bakelite. This is a salvaged item, untested and for spares and repair. The handset has a button with 'press this while speaking'. The handset is heavy and has a wonderful period look. The cord and flex are original and fraying in many places. This is a rare telephone, perfect for any collector or to stage in a modern interior to add a burst of personality.
