A fantastic antique Optometrist's adjustable height table. A rare and interesting piece with heavy cast iron base with screw fitting that adjusts the height of the table. The table opens to reveal compartments for storage of lenses and other optometrist's table. This was probably used by a shop or travelling Optician, as the top wooden section can be fully taken off. Dating from the early part of the 20th Century this is a fantastic collectors piece, but also would make a stunning side table or could be incorporated in many ways in to a home of business interiors. Perfect for collectables, haberdashery or craft. 
Condition
Some lenses missing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
