Here for sale is a fantastic antique carved detail. Made from oak and dating from the early 19th century. This heavily carved table has wonderful sycamore leaves and fruit carved into the top. The inlaid medallion is made from boxwood and other fruit woods. There are areas of missing inlay to the top, where an old newspaper is showing through, it really adds to its history and charm. The table top twists from its base for easy transport. The base has three stunning carved scroll feet on a fabulous acanthus carved support. This is a stunning rare table, hand made by a master craftsmen. Perfect to incorporate into any modern home to add soul and character to a space. It would be wonderful as a lamp or side table in a lounge or reading nook.
Condition
Areas of missing lnlay to the top and cracking to surface. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
