A fabulous antique set of scales. Fully marked by the maker, Salter of England, and is the model 35. Made from black painted cast iron and with a lovely brass face. Dating from the early part of the 20th Century. They were used in a post office or newsagent to weigh parcels. A great antique piece, that would look fabulous staged in a modern interior to add a burst of personality.
Condition
Tarnishing to brass, we have not cleaned the brass and very much as found. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
