A fantastic antique fireplace hood. Made from repousee copper mounted on cast iron. Stamped to the back with 'INTR 16F' and 'X 691'. The copper design is exquisite with a swag and acanthus leaf. Originally salvaged from a Victorian open fireplace. Now it is a lovely decorative piece. Perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space. 
Condition
As found. We have only given it a light clean. Dents to copper and tarnishing in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
