A fantastic antique filing cabinet by the Shannon Furniture Company. Beautifully made from Oak with a Wellington design with locking side bar. Includes original working key. Three drawers which would originally have held the Shannon patent filing system which held ring bound files, these rings are now missing. Shannon were founded in 1883 and were specialists in high quality office furniture with their patented designs. A fabulous bank of drawers, perfect for storage and filing, and to incorporate into a modern home office or study.
Condition
There is no sides to the internal drawers as this was how the drawers were designed. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
