A fantastic antique salvaged workbench. With makers mark for Victor Gautier of Paris. Who was based at Aux Mines de Suede, 6 rue Lamartine. The vice to the font is made from hand turned wood but is missing its handle. This fabulous salvaged workbench would have been used by a carpenter or joiner in a workshop. The surface has a wonderful timeworn patina and dark stain which really adds to its charm. Perfect has a quirky kitchen island or desk. Its a great size and would look amazing incorporated into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
It has lots of cuts and areas of missing wood to the surafce. This is a salvage piece which has been heavily used. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
