A fantastic antique advertising sign. Made from tin and states 'Prince Albert, the national joy smoke, SOLD HERE'. Prince Albert is an American brand of cigarettes and was founded by the R. J. Reynolds Tabacco Company in 1907. This sign would have been on a wall outside of a tobacconist to advertise the brand. The sign dates from the first part of the 20th Century. It is very weathered and has been on some adventures but only adds to its charm. The red colour is vibrant and perfect to mount on a wall to add a splash of colour! Adding soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Tarnishing to surface and areas of missing tin. The sign is light in weight and has been folded in the corners. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
