A fantastic antique table. With retailer label for Williams and Cox. They were established in 1837 and were based at the Stand, Torquay. Made from mahogany with red leather tooled insert to top. Raised on brass castors on turned legs. The table is double sided with three drawers each side. Originally this table was once part of Torquay museum. A much loved and used piece with a wonderful timeworn patina to the top. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Extensive use to leather top with staining and areas of missing leather. A much loved piece. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
