A fantastic antique framed book plate. This butterfly print is hand tinted and marked by the printer, Wyman & Sons. Charles Willam Henry Wyman (1804-1878) took control of Cox and Sons printers in 1840. The wonderful butterfly date from the late Victorian period and have still has a vibrant colour. It has been framed in a simple frame and cream mount. A fabulous period print, perfect for any collector or to add soul and character to any modern interior.
Condition
Some foxing to paper. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
