A fantastic vintage box. Made from English oak and with silver plate cartouche to the top. It is inscribed with 'M & R', 'June 18 1935'. This lovely box was probably a marriage gift and used to store cutlery. Now it is a supper storage box. It has its original mounting and mounted on four bun feet. With red felt lining and great brass hinges.A lovely vintage piece, perfect to incoporporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Catches to front are missing. Chip to oak to front left corner. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
