A fantastic antique rug. Hand made and unmarked. In the manor of Wissa Wassef. Dating from the 20th Century and comes from Egypt. In 1951, Wissa Wassef established the Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Centre. It has the most stunning stylised trees and birds. This is a fabulous example with vibrant colours. A super hand made piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Great condition for age. The dark red colour has silghtly run. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
